COVID-19: APLL Regional Network Update (India)
As you may have read in the news, a second wave of COVID is sweeping across India. While mass efforts are underway to contain the spread, the wave is still peaking in many parts of the country. This Advisory is to update you on the ground situation at APLL operations facilities. As of time of this Advisory, all facilities remain operational despite significant challenges such as lockdowns, curfews, distancing requirements, and related staffing constraints, etc.
APLL staff are tirelessly working to maintain business continuity protocols. All staff other than essential warehouse workers are working from home. In all operational facilities, COVID-19 preventive measures have been implemented, including donning of surgical masks, regular temperature screening, awareness drive for vaccinations, etc. We are also manning facilities with two teams on alternate days in an effort to avoid cross-contamination, as well as to contain any suspected outbreak that may occur.
We are monitoring the status in liaison with all other stakeholders and will inform any impacted customers of any potential delays that may arise.
We thank you in advance for your understanding and continued support. The safety of our staff and our service providers is of utmost priority as we try to navigate through this unprecedented situation.
