Customer Advisory: China – Ningbo Beilun Situation
There are increasing new COVID-19 positive cases reported in the Beilun District, Ningbo, and a Level I emergency response has been activated since January 1. More updates are as follows:
- Since January 2, dedicated inbound/outbound trucking routes have been set up to minimize congestion.
- As of January 4, the Ningbo-Zhoushan Port and most container depots located within the Beilun District is in operation.
- Truckers from the areas or cities outside of Beilun may be required to quarantine for more than 14 days after entering Beilun. Therefore, trucking capacity may be impacted.
- Other impacts include certain factories in the restricted area of Beilun would not be able to fulfil delivery throughout this period.
We are monitoring the situation closely. To overcome this situation, our operation team is working closely with the impacted customers to adjust the cargo delivery schedule until the situation is relieved.
