Nine in 10 European supply chain leaders have a formal risk strategy. Only 8% say their mitigation is highly effective.

This survey report is based on structured telephone interviews with 100 senior supply chain leaders across France, the United Kingdom, Germany, and the Netherlands. It explores how organisations are managing disruption, technology, 3PL relationships, and resilience investment.
The findings reveal a clear gap between strategy and effectiveness: 69% still report unresolved risk management challenges.
66%
Experienced supply chain disruptions in the past 12 months.
8%
Rate their mitigation practices as highly effective.
33%
Have high confidence in their 3PL’s ability to manage disruptions.
3%
Cite resilience as a standalone investment priority.
What the Survey Report Covers
The report breaks down findings by sector — retail, industrial & manufacturing, automotive, and consumer goods — and by country: France, the United Kingdom, Germany, and the Netherlands.
It explores the strategy-effectiveness gap, 3PL confidence, technology adoption, geopolitical pressure, sourcing adjustments, and why resilience remains underfunded as a standalone priority.
Fieldwork was conducted in Q4 2025 and Q1 2026 by an independent research partner through structured telephone interviews with C-suite, director, and manager-level respondents.
For broader analysis and recommendations based on the survey findings, see the companion research report, European Supply Chain Risk and Resilience 2026.
