Rail & Drayage Access
APL Logistics provides access to major North America Class I railroads, along with partner drayage and truck brokerage networks. Service options include door-to-door, ramp-to-ramp, door-to-ramp, and ramp-to-door transportation.
Equipment Options
Customers get access to APL Logistics’ 53-foot APDU domestic container fleet, railroad-controlled 53-foot equipment, and steamship line 20-foot, 40-foot, and 45-foot equipment for certain domestic moves.
Operational Coordination
APL Logistics supports load tendering, equipment confirmation, drayage coordination, rail billing, appointment management, shipment tracing, delivery coordination, accessorial processing, and order closure.
Visibility & Customer Support
Customers get track-and-trace visibility, KPI reporting, and operational support from intermodal specialists. Transportation operations provides 24/7 coverage, with proactive support for capacity, service needs, exceptions, and delivery requirements.
Cross-Border Intermodal
APL Logistics supports cross-border intermodal solutions built around door-to-door management, centralized operational support, fixed rail schedules, and coverage across key manufacturing and consumption centers in the U.S. and Mexico.
Shipments can move in-bond and clear Mexican customs processing at the destination ramp, with real-time tracking throughout the entire journey.
