APLL India awarded IKEA SA’s Best CP Service Provider 2017/2018

NEW DELHI, August 30, 2018 – APL Logistics (“APLL”) India has been awarded “Best Overall Logistics Service Provider (LSP) / Consolidation Point Operator” by IKEA South Asia Transport / Logistics Services (“IKEA SA”). As a LSP partner, APLL manages Buyer’s Consolidation and origin transportation services for IKEA’s sourcing operations in India, Bangladesh and Pakistan. The award served as a recognition of APLL’s fulfilment of the IWAY, IKEA’s code of conduct for sustainability and operational excellence. Presented with the award at IKEA South Asia’s Carrier Day in Delhi, APLL reaffirmed its commitment to sustainability and operational excellence. At the same time, APLL also shared with the audience innovation and initiatives in enabling a cleaner, safer, and more efficient supply chain for IKEA.
