FCA is an Incoterm that shifts cargo responsibility from the seller to the buyer at an early stage in the supply chain. This paper explains the differences between FOB and FCA and provides examples of how it can increase shipment security, remove transportation costs from COGS, and improve overall supply chain flexibility and cost management.
