Customer Advisory: Operational Updates Following Myanmar Earthquake

APL Logistics would like to update you on the operational impacts following the earthquake that struck near Sagaing, Myanmar, on March 28, 2025, which caused significant disruptions to infrastructure and services in the Myanmar and Thailand.
Key Operational Updates
1) Myanmar:
- Electricity: Power availability remains limited to four (04) hours or less per day, affecting operations in impacted areas.
- Internet and Mobile Connectivity: Unstable connectivity is affecting communications and system access.
- Office Building: Our main office is under assessment. Staff will continue working remotely, supported by a secure backup site as part of our Business Continuity Plan (BCP).
- Warehouse Operations: Warehouses remain operational, with BCP measures ensuring minimal disruption to services.
- Customs/Port Operations: Delays are anticipated, and we are actively working to assess the impact.
- Carrier Operations: Delays are expected. Our team is closely monitoring the situation to provide updates as needed.
2) Thailand:
- We are pleased to inform you that operations in Thailand have returned to normal. All our staff have been allowed to return to our office building as of today, 31 March, 2025.
