APL Logistics Receives AIB Score of 990

SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA – APL Logistics Americas LTD (APLL) is proud to announce that its Rialto, CA Distribution Center received a 990 AIB score from AIB International.*

APLL’s Rialto Distribution Center is a 758,000 sq. ft. food-grade facility serving the U.S. West Coast for a single customer. Rialto General Manager, Dan McCormick and his team have done an outstanding job implementing food safety standards and doing their part to ensure a safe food supply chain.

The AIB audit is a snapshot of the Food Safety culture in a facility. The audit is all-inclusive and encompasses a detailed and complex assessment of facility operations: cleanliness, maintenance, condition of food storage area (warehouse), physical security, and pest management. The key to earning a high score is a rigorous focus on maintaining food safety protocol every day. It is essential that all employees be properly trained on all procedures.
